  • We respectfully recognize, understand, and reaffirm that we are on Treaty 6 territory, home to the Metis and Cree Peoples.  At St. Brieux School, we are thankful and truly appreciate the opportunity to live and learn on this diverse and beautiful land.  We will continue to strengthen and nurture our relationships with all people by actively engaging in truth and reconciliation.
  • If you would like to purchase a hotdog, chips and pop for our Food Day next week, please have your money in to the office by tomorrow. Highschool students, you will find order forms at the office. Five dollars will buy your lunch!
  • Tomorrow is our Terry Fox Run. Please be sure to wear your Crews Colour! Terry Fox's goal was to raise one dollar for every Canadian. We will have a donation bucket at the assembly tomorrow. If you'd like to bring a loonie in Terry's memory, we will be sure it goes to his foundation to raise money for cancer research! Bring your own cup to enjoy some lemonade with your Rice Krispie treat after the run.
    There will be Jr B volleyball practice at 12:30 today!
  • Gr 11's, please return your forms for Opportunities Edge if you haven't already.  We need those in ASAP
    SBS1 - Alison's bus will not be running this afternoon or tomorrow all day.  
  • All Grade 9-12 boys interested in trying out for Sr Basketball please meet in the gym at 12:20 today
    Let's give a huge shoutout to our cross country runners who competed in pre districts yesterday. Out of 26 athletes, 17 made it through to districts next week finishing in the top ten. This is a huge achievement. These athletes are Joel Silzer, Logan Weseen, Olivia Perrot, Jayce Kovacs, Griffin Edwards, Ben Silzer, Antoni Llorca, Eden Perrot, Nicholas Chetty, Carys Miller, Jessa Kovacs, Amy Kovacs, Aliyah LeJan, Riley Kovacs, Ace Piatt, Kaycee Davies, and Finley Edwards. An extra special shoutout has to go to Amy Kovacs, Antoni Llorca and Riley Kovacs who placed 1st in their races, Jayce Kovacs who placed 2nd, Jessa Kovacs and Finley Edwards who both placed 3rd. Out of 17 schools in our division, we are now in joint first place!!! This is brilliant! Great job Crusaders and good luck at districts. There will be cross country practice tomorrow morning for athletes moving on. Please meet in Mrs. Salmon's room at 7:15am. 
  • The junior boys soccer team hosts Lake Lenore after school today. Good luck! We will meet outside at 12:20 for a quick shoot around.
  • Jr A V-ball girls have a game against Englefeld today.  Come out and cheer them on.  Please let Miss Bulicz know if you can minor officiate.
