Daily Announcements

  • Jr SRC reps, please pick up your clipboards from Mrs. Mueller's room after announcements.
  • Please join us in congratulating our cross-country runners participating in Provincials in Dixon on Saturday. It is no mean feat to make it to Provincials. Put simply, these are the best Intermediate, Junior, and Senior runners in the province of Saskatchewan. It was a huge achievement even to take part in this meet. Most races on Saturday had approximately 100 athletes all giving their all to make it to the finish line. Please join me in congratulating Ace Piatt who placed 92nd, Carys Miller 62nd, Nicholas Chetty 45th, Finley Edwards 40th, Riley Kovacs 14th and Jessa Kovacs placed 12th. An extra special shout-out has to be given to Amy Kovacs who placed 8th in the province. Placing in the top ten is a massive accomplishment for, not only Amy but for St. Brieux School. This year's cross-country season has put our school on the map. Based on points in the 2A category, St. Brieux School was awarded the top position of gold over the weekend. This is unreal and it has been many years since we won gold in this sport. The saying, "It takes a village" could not be more meaningful today. Every single athlete in cross-country this year has played a part in this award and you should be extremely proud of yourselves and what you have achieved as a team. Thank you, Mrs. Michelle Piatt, Mr. Trumbley, and Mrs. Bernhard for helping us on the day; you all rock!  Mrs. Salmon has a huge place in her heart for all of her athletes and is super excited to see where next year takes us. Thank you for an awesome season, runners. Times are posted outside the Gr. 6 classroom. Please return all Provincial pinnies to Mrs. Salmon as soon as possible.
