Our School

St. Brieux School is a K-12 school that has students from the town of St. Brieux and the surrounding rural area. St. Brieux School completed renovations in 2017 and now includes an Industrial Arts Lab, Practical and Applied Arts space, cooking and clothing lab, as well as new washrooms and the expansion of the library and the main entrance.

The school is also home to the St. Brieux Wapiti Public Library.

The school has 17.83 FTE professional staff (including one learning resource teacher, 4.3 FTE educational assistants, one library technician, 1 FTE secretarial time, and 2 caretakers). The student enrolment currently sits at 267 students.

Bourgault Industries has partnered with St. Brieux School to provide materials and training support for Welding 10, 20, and 30. We also have school/community partnerships with Affinity Credit Union (local branch), Bourgault Tillage Tools, Bourgault Industries, Prairie North Co-op, Nutrien, as well as the Château Providence Care Home. There are also interagency partnerships with SWIS, the Melfort RCMP Detachment, as well as the Kelsey Trail Health Region.
